The Vital Acts: Podcast by Izyaan Burney
Hi, I’m Izyaan
I’ve always been drawn to the act of performance, the shifting moods, the quiet tension, the emotional ignition. There’s something powerful in how a story unfolds, how the mind responds, and how, sometimes, healing begins with a single line spoken out loud. As a playwright fascinated by the human body and mind, I’ve come to see that our responses fear, joy, grief, even courage are not just emotional, but biological. This podcast is where those two worlds meet. I explore how drama helps us express, react, and sometimes heal, not just through the stories we tell, but through the systems within us that shape them.
